Wrong choice....

I ve said it a million times will never stop saying it, Life is all about choices! We all are part of the decision making process, but sadly education prepares us for just about every decision except the most important of all - our response to Jesus Christ! The world does it s level best to relegate this decision to mere religeous preference...

Dont stop at John 17, Continue to John 18:28- 19:16...  Give us Barabbas (:40) the mob shouted. Sadly the world still does today! This notable prisoner half robber, half revolutionary was the alternative to Jesus. Decision time and Jesus got thumbs down. The ignorant rabble had been roused by politcal expedience (:12-16)

Man can evade taking responsibility: time of choice always comes. Typically, Pilate tried to exonerate himself by washing his hands in public (Math 27:24) We invariably try to excuse ourselves, blame others but it does not work! Blood is not washed off easily!  the ignorant masses responded defiantly, almost like shaking their fists at God! "Let His Blood be on us and our children" (Math 27:25) No more reckless cry was ever uttered!

The voice of the people is very rarely the voice of God....A W Tozer once wrote: "the masses are alway wrong! the number of  the righteouss is small be sure you are among them"

Ask The Lord to give you discernment to recognize the difference between HIS TRUTH and popular opinion....pray for the courage and conviction to stand for that TRUTH IRRESPECTIVE OF THE CONSEQUENCES....
