Real REAL Unity....

Stated fact, we live in a world of pretence and nowhere is it more plastic (fake) than in the arena of unity, where we are continually "walking on egg shells" trying to convince everyone (including ourselves) that the brotherhood of man is a biblical doctrine!

Get your Bible: read John 17:20-26


 Jesus prayed that  "we should be one" (:21) i have travelled much to this day, i have stayed in many homes, guest houses hotels you name it, met many people across the globe... Cultural and colour differences are perceptibly absent when the fellowship involves true believers.There is an immediate warmth and unity of spirit.

Now, spiritual unity transcends all the "natural people" barriers. It cannot be immitated and this makes the devil mad and sad! Furious! Unity of the Spirit is divine and is based on our unity with the Father and Son (:23) while unity of common cause and like minds is HUMAN. The latter is so fragile because minds change so often as do political causes...

Until the very end times the church will house both wheat and tares (math 13:24-30) The Holy Spirit will finally seperate BELIEVERS AND UNBELIEVERS. Untill then they will live side by side, but they will never find true unity. Rest assured, however, that politicians will continue to brandish national pride and patriotism as the demagogue of unity...

Marvel afresh at the unity you have with Jesus Christ and the Father. Your relationship with your fellow believers is rooted in this...ask the Lord Jesus to help you recognize grace in others, and to give you patience and gentleness in your dealings with them....
