WAVE THOSE GRAVE CLOTHES GOOD BYE TODAY...

Woke to such a beautiful Sonshine filled day here in Sonshine South Africa, yes the Son is Shining bright even in darkness, He is Light Himself...

May i ask you, take time out today to remember that you, yes you, are in the presence of the Life Giving God & so come to Him this day afresh with expectancy to His word... i was led to read John 11:28-44

Reading this i cannot help but think that Lazarus raising, was more of a shock to Mary and Martha than his death...Somehow it just is a fact that how sad it might be to see a loved one die, there is somehow a normality to it. All of us, everyone s life comes to an end at some point. Now think about it, these two sisters, the onlookers and Jesus Himself are all grieving..This too is normal.

SUDDENLY... Jesus turns normality on it s head! So very Him, to this day! Let s be real, opening a grave sure is not normal (:39) calling a dead man to come is  sure not normal (:43) and sure not normal to have grave clothes unwrapped (:44) i do expect the mourning turned into dancing and the tears turned to laughter once the reality of what had just happened sank in...

Put yourself in this scene my friend, try imagine what WOW turnaround was required! When you are adjusting to death processing grief how easily it would be to reverse the process to receive NEW LIFE!? Be assured Psychologically, emotionally, intellectually a lot would be required!

The reality and truth is this: Jesus is continually offering new life to parts of our live that seem to have died! Death and Resurrection are powerful themes in all journeys of our spiritual work out walking out our salvation...Sure, sometimes we may find it hard to make the shift from grief at what we ve lost to discovering new life as we unwrap the grave clothes..

May i ask you this day, is there any part of yoru life wrapped in grave clothes? maybe death happened in order for new life to be revealed. Can i ask you, do ask the Holy Spirit to help you turn your attention this day & every other day to NEW LIFE WHICH IS POSSIBLE.

Choose Life - Not Death today & everyday of your life, in all at all times.

Love you to life for Life in Him through Him unto Him.
