We have some real preaching to do...
Recently i said to my precious valuable earthly “dad” ( ministry overseeing manager and my mediator for label company): “i think it s time i pack my bags & go live peaceful & quiet in Stilbaai...” he smiled, took my face in two hands and said “you are going nowhere right now, you are stayin right here with your “dad”for our Dad has a task for us still here to complete so unpack your bags we have some preaching to do.... “ (so yes ill be visiting our beautiful holiday home & place but for now he is right we have some preaching to do...)
After this i was led by the Holy Spirit to Math 24:14 “the gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations and then the end will come...”
Now i don’t have to tell you, you know it: Escahtology (study of end times) is a HOT TOPIC right now too...many of our perennial best selling authors write seemingly unending numbers of end time books. People are talking about Israel aligning with other nations...Christians by the millions are consuming stacks of books claiming to explain every detail of the books of Revelation Daniel Ezekiel.... it s almost as if everybody is getting scared...now i wanna say to you today! Just unpack your bags (books!) it s just not time yet....
How can i say that? Simple: it s not time because the TRUE GOSPEL HIS KINGDOM GOSPEL IS NOT BEING PREACHED! Sure off course there is more preaching than ever before! But...the gospel as revealed in the Bible is not being preache. We must remember this: God cannot and will not honour what is not His.
Anyone can tell you how to be a popular teacher that is easy as counting one two three...whatever you do, do not tell people to repent & be obedient to God s word. Do not even hint about the inevitable consequences of sin ( sorry if i offended you with that distasteful 3 letter word SIN....)
Sin is not a politically correct concept among present day charismatics...so ensure success by referring to sin by less convicting less accurate terms such as “indiscretion”and “a tiny little problem...” ( do not mention that SIN was such a big problem that God sent His Son Jesus Christ to lay down His life to destroy its (SIN) power over us!
The problem is: THE GOSPEL IS ABOUT REPENTANCE OF SINS! No amount of talking explaining justifying or prevaricating can change that fact! Only after we start preaching the GOSPEL OF HIS KINGDOM AGAIN we can talk about packing our bags for a heavenly homecoming....
Maybe this is you as you read between the lines not knowing what to pray where to start well pray this then for a start :
“our Father, i m unpacking my bags & blowing the dust of the rest of my Bible . The things at the end only happen after we do the things in the middle...Millions have still not heard the good news of the Kingdom of God. People in my own neighbourhood grocery store work place have not seen the Kingdom of God nor met You Jesus! I have too much work to do for You Lord Jesus to check out now...I ask You God in through unto Jesus anoint me Holy Spirit to be a fearless witness for You my King & Your Kingdom in Jesus name Amen. Mwahx “
